I had a post ready to go this morning, but as I did further research, I realized that I need to sort out several American steamships that shared the name Illinois in the 1830s-’50s era. One is important to Milwaukee and some of our Mequon pioneers…but the others are not. Alas.
Back soon with all the details, once I get my facts straight.
Be well.
